Bullet Train
Taking the train from Hsinchu, the northern area of Taiwan to head down to Taipei!!
Chiang Kai-Shek National Theater and Concert Hall
This is Chiang Kai-Shek National Theater and Concert Hall. It hosts different events inside, sadly I didn't get the chance to take a look inside. But would you just take a look at the magnificence of this building!!
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
Now!! May I present the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall!!
Chiang Kai-Shek Statue
After climbing up quite a number of steps.... (Phew!) I have finally reached the statue of Chiang Kai-Shek!! I was super lucky to arrive just in time to see the changing of guard ceremony!!
Kuo Min Tang Flag
On the ceiling is the logo of the Kuomintang party, which was once run by Chiang Kai-Shek. (I apologise for the slanted picture...)
Presidential House
A few minutes away from the Memorial Hall, is the presidential buliding. I couldn't really take a lot of pictures due to the number of security guards there. I mean it literally, there are even guards from opposite the street!!
ShengXing Train Station
Next destination is to ShengXing Train Station!! It is located near Sanyi Train Station. However, from the train station you might have to catch a taxi up. This station used to be operating however it closed down due to some reasons. Now, it has become a tourist spot!!
A view from the top of the railway station. Look at that view!! It makes me feel like I'm on the top of the world. HAHAHA!
ShengXing Train Station Sign
This is the signage that shows the station name, ShengXing, on the train platform.
